(35, 30x36) Never Worn 1940s wool dble breasted SUIT. gorgeous, but need s a little TLC

1940's Never Worn double-breasted suit! Amazing high-waisted, pleated front pants- nice wide legs! And the jacket has those wide 40s lapels, has 2 sets of buttons but only the bottom button buttons- the top row is for show, slightly padded shoulders and no back vent.
The fabric is 100% wool. Light brown (cafe au lait) and ivory white in a cross-hatching pattern (see the detail photos). The original tags are still attached- this is labeled a size 20, which means it was sized for a 20 year old. The pencil writing is faded, but the cost of this suit may have been $20, so this was a very high end suit in the 40s!
Lined at the collar and sleeves with copper satin. Perfect swing kid suit! Please email me w/ any questions.
The most accurate colour is the close-up photo of the repair job. Its not as "yellow" as some of the photos look- more distinctly brown and white.
Condition: Never Worn. Dirty from storage- needs to be dry cleaned. The pants have some dirt in the fold lines. Has moth holes; none very big, but will need some re-weaving (back of right thigh, 2 in left sleeve, 2 in the lower back and 3 period repairs done, 1 in left sleeve,1 in lower left front and 1 on the right side- see the photo). The only "bad" hole is in the right lapel, but it doesnt go all the way thru & is still quite small. The hole in the leg is kinda bad- you may need to patch this-I'm not sure if it will take stitches. 2" tear up from the left leg hem- not a big deal if you are hemming/cuffing anyway. One of the left cuff buttons is snapped in half (but still attached).
