SHAFT TOUR OUTFIT worn by Isaac Hayes 70s PIMP CHECK IT OUT! (sz. S-M Tall)
This is an authentic 1970s concert tour outfit that was represented to me as being worn by Isaac Hayes during his SHAFT tour! It is truly a glorious piece of 70s history and a collector's item regardless of the pedigree.
Electric neon green thick polyester with heavy dark green and neon green rope applique and gold studs, mirrored circles & amber rhinestones.
The body is a one-piece jumpsuit type that you step into and it zips up the right side. LIGHTNING BOLT chest straps are hooked on in back with D-rings. The pant legs are huge BELLBOTTOMS!
The CAPE has a hard neck that stands up behind you head and the cape bottom is scalloped. WRISTBANDS and a HEADBAND are also included.
Condition: Very Good. Has some staining (this is more like storage dust than ink or anything dark and black) but I havent dry cleaned it so this may all come out. Being sold as-is. There may be a few studs missing but no more than 2-3 from what I can see.
The model in the photos is tall and thin. About 6'4 with about a 34" waist.
Shoulders to waist: 29"
Waist: 33" ok for a 34"
Rise (waist to crotch): 14"
Hips: 41"
Inseam: 33" has a small hem, maybe 1.5"
Cuffs: 30" around. Bellbottoms!
Being sold as-is. It was represented to me by the antique dealer I got this from that it was worn by Isaac Hayes. I'm repeating that to you but there is no certificate of authenticity. Its worth it regardless of who owned it! "Someone" wild in the 70s sure did!
