Men's vintage 1940's Western shirt. Absolutely killer custom-made 1940s men's rayon gabardine western shirt. Exceptionally fine embroidery with vivid & bright colours. The body is a chocolate brown with a hint of red. Tan curved piping at the front yokes and embroidered with red, green and orange flowers. The same flowers are embroidered on the collar, cuffs and on the back! "Inner" smiley pockets have small green arrow-tips and are "behind" the piping. The initials CMD are embroidered below the left pocket. Shell buttons (snaps weren't used until the late 40s) and a long floppy 40s collar. No tags, but all single-needle threading. Any cowboy would be proud to wear this shirt.
Condition: Very Good. missing 1 button on the right cuff and 2 of the left buttons have been broken a bit (not perfectly round anymore) but really exceptional condition. Minor iron shine to the gaberdine.
Chest: actually measures 46" but Id say better for a roomy 44" LARGE. check the shoulders.
Sleeves: 30" collar to cuff / 25" shoulder seam to cuff
Length: 28"
Shoulders: 19"
